The AP Main is the all-purpose performer designed for class racing in all conditions. The key to this sail's performance is rig tune. Light rig settings allow the draft to set up in an optimal position with a powerful shape. Working through medium conditions with a tighter rig, the main flattens with the draft location holding its position. In the bigger breeze, this sail can hang in there with a nicely flattened sail and a clean exit.

Mainsails & Mast Differences: The J/105 is now available with two different masts. The hall mast is softer and able to bend, while the Sparcraft rig is stiffer. AP and Heavy mains are available for either mast. Make sure your mast type is specified before you place a sail order.
