Star Mainsails

Star Mainsail 46

The 46 is the quintessential, all-purpose mainsail. This sail gives crews an unmatched level of control and balance and power in every condition. Crafted with premium quality Dimension Polyant fabric that incorporates a radial cut head and clew with a cross cut midsection, this sail leads in both longevity and shape retention.

The 46 has been designed with a flatter head and middle section to promote sail twist, ultimately making the boat more balanced. The sail's draft has also been moved farther forward to improve the boat's ability to punch through waves. The 46 is the top choice for sailing in any conditions, but truly excels in windy conditions.

INCLUDES: Battens, vision windows, roll bag, royalties, telltales, tackline. Draft stripes available.

Star Mainsail 50

The 50 is our ultimate all-purpose mainsail, employing a deeper profile increased power performance. Our fullest mainsail, the 50 helps reduce the time it takes to get the crew over the side of the boat. With a deeper profile in the upper third of the sail and a middle length luff curve, the 50 makes it easy to adjust power output using various control lines.

Crafted with premium quality Dimension Polyant fabric that incorporates a radial cut head and clew and cross cut midsection, this sail is built with durability and long-term performance in mind. The 50 is the perfect sail for boats looking to increase their power in all conditions.

Star Mainsail 57

The 57 is the perfect sail for inshore, choppy water sailing. The flatter sail is designed to generate enough driving force to punch through even the roughest chop. Although designed for lighter conditions, we've pushed the standards for what a 57 can do in light air. Crafted with premium quality Dimension Polyant fabric sewn into a design with a radial cut head and clew with a cross cut midsection, this sail is built for venues with light air and lots of chop. The unmatched performance of the 57 in light air means that it takes less time to power up. With the proper controls, this sail performs skillfully in windy, flat water conditions.

INCLUDES: Battens, vision windows, roll bag, royalties, telltales, tackline. Draft stripes available.

Star Headsails

Star Jib P-16

The P-16 is the top performer for open water, big wave sailing. With a fuller bottom and middle section, the P-16 is built to last; the deeper draft of the sail performs adeptly in light, flat conditions. Our top choice for this class, the P-16 operates as the perfect all-purpose headsail. To give the sail longevity and performance, we crafted it with premium quality Dimension Polyant fabric, utilizing both radial and cross cut sections and added a radial clew and head for an increase in durability as well as minimal stretch over time.

INCLUDES: Battens, vision windows, roll bag, royalties, telltales. Draft stripes available.

Star Jib P-2C

The P-2C is a balanced jib that provides optimal flow to the mainsail. Due to its straighter leech, this sail shines in light-to-medium breeze and in flatter seas. With a reinforced, radial head for longevity, the P-2C is our light air specialist, promoting attached flow across both the main and headsail. To increase the performance of the sail, the bottom and middle sections of the sail are built using the cross cut method. The P-2C also features a flatter midsection and head for better speed in flat water conditions.

INCLUDES: Battens, vision windows, roll bag, royalties, telltales. Draft stripes available.
