A third generation sailor, Will Paxton started sailing when he was just six years old. He joined the Richmond Yacht Club junior program and never looked back, learning to crew and captain everything from commercial fishing vessels to international racing boats.

During college, Paxton worked at Sobstad Sails cutting parts and finishing membranes. When Sobstad became Quantum Pacific, he stayed on as a sailmaker before working his way up to production manager. Though he left sail making in 2001 to pursue a career in professional sailing and captaining, Paxton returned to Quantum Sails as a sail consultant in January 2013.

Paxton was happy to return to a company and product that he knows well, commenting that he feels fortunate to have a job doing what he loves to do most. Paxton's extensive knowledge of Quantum sails, coupled with his passion for sailing, make him an ideal candidate to help racers and cruisers get the most out of their sailing experiences.
