Quantum's Melges 20 sails made a dominating statement last weekend when they swept the podiums in Canada and Italy.
At the Canadian National Championship in Toronto, Quantum sails thrashed the competition, going 1-2-3 with 9, 16, and 19 points – at least 12-points ahead of the closest competition. Richard Davies on his Section 16 dominated the event, winning five of eight races. The only other teams to win individual races were the Quantum-powered teams of Peshmerga and SPRAY.
On the other side of the ocean, Dario Levi’s Fremito D’arga won three of six races in a tight race against Igor Rytov on RUS 296, taking first place by one point. Claudio Dutto on Asante Sanarounded out the top three spots at the Audi-tron Sailing Series King of the Lake at Lake Garda, Italy.
Congratulations to everyone on an impressive weekend.
