We worked a lot on downwind speed and made some improvements but still had a bit of a problem there at the Olympics. In Savannah there were almost always waves to play and with the windward leeward course every race, the runs were important. We found that by getting the mast just right, the vang right, the mainsheet not out too far, Hal way forward and me hiking out at the right time to keep the boat healed we could go OK.
