About Obersheimer Sailor Supply

Obersheimer Sailor Supply is an authorized dealer and service center for Quantum Sails in association with Quantum Sails Rochester.

Obersheimer Sails was founded in in Buffalo, NY in 1970 by Charles G Obersheimer, an Olympic Flying Dutchman sailor.

In 1985, the store moved to its current location, the former Jubilee Theater in Buffalo's Black Rock neighborhood and was renamed to Obersheimer Sailor Supply. In 2014, The Tanski family purchased the business from Mr. Obersheimer in 2014 and have been dedicated to providing the very best in customer service and support since. Their location features a 3,000 sq ft sail loft, 3,000 sq ft rigging shop and over 8,000 sq ft dedicated to retail, service and outboard engine repair.

Obersheimer’s excels at supplying an extensive variety of products and services to both sail and power enthusiasts alike.
