Karl Felger

Karl Felger was raised within a community of sailors, having spent every summer on the water since he was eight years old. Summer internships at a local sail loft lead to a full time position at Quantum Toledo for two years before a ten year hiatus in the tech industry. Karl returned to sailmaking full time in the Fall of 2016 and has never looked back. Years of customer service and project manager experience, coupled with his passion for sailing and history as an accomplished helmsman, tactician and trimmer gives care the skill set needed to support customers and drive development.

Whether it be round the buoy or distance racing, Karl has extensive experience on One Design and offshore racing campaigns. On the regatta circuit you can find Karl competing in many local, regional and national events throughout the year, including inshore classes such as the Thistle, Highlander and J/70 to offshore classes such as the Melges 32, J/105 and J/111.

When asked about how he can contribute to the sailing industry, Karl says, "It's our customers' experiences that are going to help grow the sport. I want my work to reflect them and their experiences, and I want to make sure they are recognized as well."
