Meet Peter

A Marine Corps officer and offshore racer, Peter Gibbons-Neff Jr. campaigns solo at the highest level while serving as an ambassador for U.S. Patriot Sailing. His program blends high-performance ocean racing with a mission to support and reconnect veterans through sailing. He’s back for another MiniTransat, once again partnered with the Quantum Sails team.

PGN's Purpose meets Quantum Expertise

Peter's partnership with Quantum Sails is central to his push toward the 2027 Mini Transat, combining a global design network with deep Class Mini expertise. Working closely with Lorient-based designer Gildas DuBois, the program builds on thousands of offshore miles and proven sail development to refine performance at every stage, bringing a fully integrated, data-driven approach to a new foiling campaign aimed at the front of the fleet.
