Warpath Wins Melges 32 US Sailing Series Championship

With the completion of the Melges 32 World Championship, the 2012 USA Sailing Series also drew to a close. California’s Steve Howe on Quantum-powered Warpath earned the 2012 Melges 32 USA Sailing Series Championship title. Howe won the Gold Cup Regatta last December and continued to excel throughout the season, ultimately putting him atop of the list of an impressive 44 qualifying teams. Quantum teams took three out of the top five spots in the Series for an impressive season. Congratulations teams!

And at the Worlds….

The Melges 32 World Championship was held in Newport, RI last week. Spectators were kept guessing right up until the final race; in the end, Quantum-powered teams took places three through five out of a fleet of 33 boats. Great sailing teams and thanks for the support!
