2014 Annapolis NOOD Regatta-SuperWeek
April 28th-May 4th
It is never too early to start preparing for success. If you like to win but don’t sail 12 months of the year, it is important to remember the lessons learned last season. With this in mind, J World in Annapolis offers a proven seven-day race training program with three days of actual one design racing in the highly competitive J/80 class.
All this takes place in Annapolis before the 2014 Annapolis NOOD regatta. J World’s world-class coaching staff will be supplemented with some of the best sailing professionals in the business including Quantum Atlantic’s David Gross and Scott Nixon.
During SuperWeek, you will learn (or brush-up) the skills needed to execute quick and competitive starts, maximize speed and efficiency on the windward leg, make smart decisions and pass boats at every mark rounding, take full advantage of the downwind leg to extend and win, improve spinnaker boat handling, and eke out every last drop of performance from your boat.
J World’s fleet of J/80s are used for SuperWeek because they are fast, fun, and the best learning platform around. With J/80 North Americans and World’s coming to Annapolis in 2014 you can bet that there will be teams preparing for the venue by participating in the 2014 Annapolis NOOD Regatta.
