Sail Designer - San Francisco, CA
Quantum Sails is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Sail Designer to focus on production products for racing and cruising clients. Responsibilities include designing of sails and preparing production details as well as providing support to local loft production, and sales and service teams. This position will be required to coordinate details with members of the Global Sales Team to ensure finished products meet client needs and with the Production Department to ensure accurate and efficient construction. Sail Designers report to the VP of Design & Engineering. 

The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCad and/or AutoSketch, have strong sailing skills, excellent internal and external customer service skills, and hands-on sailmaking experience. Minimum experience of five years in a similar role is required. Following a period of training in Annapolis, MD this position is expected to be located in San Francisco, CA.

This position is a full-time position and will be eligible for Quantum's benefit package. Salary is DOE.

Service Manager - Annapolis, MD
Quantum Sails Annapolis is seeking a Service Manager, with a proven track record, to join our team.  As the largest Quantum loft in the United States, this is an opportunity to work with industry leaders. This Service Loft is the Flagship for our Company, and as with all Quantum lofts,  we demand the best of our employees and the best for our customers. In this loft we manage warranty, finish work, new sail builds, canvas (fabrication and repair) and of course, retail service. Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects at once, and strong communication skills are mandatory.  Although sailmaking experience is not required, consideration will be given to those applicants with this experience. Maritime Industry experience is mandatory. This individual must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities include managing entirety of Q Service Experience for each client; growing retail service on a local and regional level; ensuring highest quality of service work is achieved on every item; evaluating, refining and disseminating Service Technician sail repair estimates; interacting with client through to approval; daily scheduling and management of WIP List to ensure delivery date requests are met; managing Service Technicians, and ensuring efficient and consistent utilization of labor; purchasing, and managing and accounting for loft consumable inventory; and interacting with customers as needed, on a daily basis – in person, at the loft, on location and via phone and email.

Salesperson - Long Beach, CA
The successful candidate will generate prospects and solicit business from new prospects as well as grow business from existing customers. Maintenance of accurate records using Quantum's online proprietary software would be required. Employees of Quantum's Sales Team are expected to maintain reasonable and responsible office hours in order to execute professional customer service. Participation in sailing related events, upon approval, is expected. This position will not only be part of the Quantum Sales Team but will also need to have strong communication skills and ability to work with all other departments and employees.
